Okay, so I have this huge, red pimple on my nose and it won%26#039;t go away. Anything that I can do at home to get rid of it fast?|||Do not touch or pop the pimple. It will only make the pimple more obvious and risk infection and scarring. D: Instead, take up the following routine, twice a day, until it disappears.

Wash your hands thoroughly before you begin to touch your face.

Wash your face gently but thoroughly with a mild, medicated soap and warm water.

The water shouldn%26#039;t feel hot, and lukewarm is a little too cool.

Do not use a washcloth, as the scrubbing action could pick up and distribute bacteria to other parts of your face. It is best to use your hands.

Wash for about 30 seconds.

Pat your skin dry with a towel.

Apply a benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid topical cream on the pimple. If the spot is under the surface of the skin and hurts to the touch, use benzoyl peroxide. Salicylic Acid should work well for all other acne spots.

After topical treatment is dry, apply a basic face moisturizer (preferably allergy-tested, fragrance free, and oil free). Without moisturizing, the skin around the pimple can dry and irritate your skin, possibly making the pimple more inflamed and noticeable. If it is not to bad cleaning your face will help.

Take a wash cloth and soak it with hot water, not so hot that it burns but close.

Lay it on your face DO NOT RUB.

When your face feels real hot and you can%26#039;t take it anymore, pull the cloth off your face.

Do this twice a day once after you shower in the morning, and once before bedtime.

The heat pulls the oil out of your pores and the cloth soaks it up, should use a new cloth as much as possible.

If you get a pimple don%26#039;t pop it as that spreads the oil, thats also why you don%26#039;t want to scrub or rub the face.

Also try to avoid foundation\makeup as much as possible as it will clog pores. if you must use a concealer on individual pimples.

My 21st birthday is next Wednesday and me and my family and friends are planning on going out to party for it (naturally). I suggest you see your doctor or a dermatologist because you may need a topical antibiotic to get rid of it.

As for the tiny pimples on your arms and shoulders, it may be a case of keratosis pilaris (build up of skin cells around tiny hair follicles). Use a lotion w/ lactic acid to exfoliate and get rid of them, such as Lac-Hydrin.

Any suggestions , Or answers?|||Hahahaha, i am a dancer and a MASTER at shaving! try with a triple blade clean razor, saving SIDE WAYS with CONDITIONER then once you are finished doing that shave AGAINST the hair follicle gently. then DOWNWARDS when shaving the %26quot;sides%26quot; its all about the flow, try to master this, you will be greatly pleased, use PLENTY of conditioner.

:)|||You need to put isopropyl alcohol on it three to five times a day. It will dry out the red bumps.

Avoid putting lotion on them, because it will rehydrate the bumps and make them take longer to go away.

Also, do not shave again until they are gone. If you do, they%26#039;ll probably start bleeding and they%26#039;ll leave a scar.

If you shave again when they go away, put isopropyl alcohol on the area you shaved, and it won%26#039;t get red bumps. That should be immediately after you shave.

As long as you follow those instructions, they will be gone within two or three days. But they%26#039;ll be a lot less visible by tomorrow.

the thing you want to do is prevent, not spot treat.|||i know this sounds compleatly crazy, but ive been trying tihis latly, AND IT DOES WORK!!!

what u do is get a disposable cup, some Q-tips, baking soda, toothpick, mouthwash(must kill germs)

put about 4tbs baking soda in the cup, add about 2 1/2 tbs mouthwash, stir with toothpick, and the consistancy should be a light paste. take Qtip, and dip it in the solution, dab on pimples. u should expect this to tingle a bit since it is killing all of the nasty bacteria in ur pores, and also drawing it out, along with greece. this works trust me from experence, but remember to rice it off in about 1hr!

in adition to this you should boil a pot of water each morning (or as many morings as you can), and wait untill it starts to steam, then put your face above the pot, but make sure you are a safe distance away from the stem (aprox 1foot), cause a burn dosnent look good either! after you have %26quot;saunaed%26quot; ur face, while your poors are still open rince ur face with ice cold filtered water (you dont need more bacteria buildup).

at night simply rince your face with ice cold water, dry ur face, then use the pimple solution agian, and rince off when u wake up! :)

Just to let you know, using toothpaste on your face for a quick pimple fix is a bad idea. I am only 11 and have alot of zits and ive tried products but they dont work. Any suggestions?|||Just wash your face 2-3 times a day, depending if you have time or not. I use Biore%26#039;s pore scrub. It%26#039;s a little pricy, but it works really well. Also, I do the old %26quot;face steaming%26quot; once every two weeks. Boil some water, pour it into some kind of container, put your face over it %26amp; cover your head with a towel. Do that for around 4-7 minutes. It opens up your pores! Then all you have to do is wash your face with warm water. Also, use a good moisturizer.|||Proactiv works quite well :)|||drink lots of water.

toothpaste really does work! mint toothpaste can burn, but you can try other flavors, and also mix toothpaste with aloe vera or with a face tonic. i like to mix mint toothpaste (it doesn%26#039;t burn when mixed, and the mint gives a fresh feeling) with nature%26#039;s cure fax tonic and use it as a mask, leaving it on for 15 minutes.

i also make another sort of mask for a clear complexion, just mixing together several ingredients that do wonders for your skin...

I found that dissolving an aspirin table in a few tablespoons of water and dabbing that water on the pimple spot will dry them up faster than anything. It is really cheap. You can buy creams that contain salisylic acid (aspirin) and that works too.|||I swear by Proactiv. It%26#039;s the only thing I%26#039;ve used that I actually notice a difference. And I only use the face wash now, not the whole 3 step thing.|||I Love Simple Wipes! .. And Also Face Masks seem to make my skin so soft, Any kind.

for a lot of people benzoyl peroxide dried their faces out.. yes it gets rid of the pimples.. but it sometimes feels as if it burns your face.. this is what pro active contains and after using it my face would be very dry and irritated..

with either one though just make sure to follow with a good moisturizer..|||i have oily/acne prone skin so what works best for me is salicylic acid. If you don%26#039;t want a harsh facial wash, get a bar of dove soap. It has close to neutral pH and is probably the best thing to wash your face with without harsh facial washes etc. Alot of dermatoligists advise to use dove soap aswell.

Follow these steps and you will have flawless skin, without pimples in no time.

1) Once a day, in the morning or at night time, wash your face with a bar of dove soap. Be very careful not to get it in your eyes.Rinse a flannel with HOT water and wet your whole face with it. Hot water opens your pores so when you wash your face it cleans inside your pores. Apply soap using your fingers in circular motions all round your face. Wet the flannel using COLD water and remove all soap from your face. Cold water closes pores so that when you dry your face you won%26#039;t be getting any excess dirt from the towel on your face which may cause spots.

2) Drop a few drops of tea tree oil on your hand and absorb it all using a cotton bud. Apply to all blemishes, including the surrounding area of the blemish. You should use tea tree oil 1-2 times a day. You can use it on other areas of your body, aswell as your face.

-If you wear any foundation/concealer make sure it is oil free otherwise it will clog your pores. This is why many people have spots.

If you follow all these steps you will be sure to have flawless skin in no time just like me. :)

I had this sort of pimple about 6 months ago on my lower back and it never really came to a %26#039;head%26#039;. It is still there, a little painful and I can feel it like a large pimple below the surface.

What on earth is it? It has been there such a long time, I%26#039;m thirty and haven%26#039;t had a pimple since I was sixteen.

its probably just a rash, or maybe excema. my sis has it and it causes her skin to get clumps of little red bumps all over! if your baby scratches then it will get worse. if it isnt excema then use aveeno oatmeal body cream and before she goes to sleep then put vaseline on it. if it is excema then go to a dermitolgist then and get a prescription. if this doesnt help you should take her to a dermetoligist anyway just to get it checked out.

My friend, has so many pimples and she always complains to me about them. She wants to get rid of them naturally.|||sometimes the only answer is to see a dermatologist who can prescribe an antibiotic pill... when the bacteria(usually the cause of acne) becomes overabundant it can cause infection. DO NOT pick or pop any of the bumps- this will only cause irritation and scarring! DO drink lots and lots of water! And then drink some more!! DO NOT rest face on hands and try to avoid touching face altogether. DO NOT wash your face more than 2 times per day!!!!! Your skin produces oils naturally and needs some oil. Overwashing will just cause the pores to get %26quot;confused%26quot; when they are stripped of all the oil and produce even more! DO NOT use alcohol as an astringent! Mix baking soda(neutralizer) with water to make a face wash. Make sure the baking soda is brand new... not some that has been freshing your fridge for 6 months! The consistency should be a liquidy paste(the more liquidy the better)

Very gently rub on face in circular motion to exfoliate then rinse. being very careful not to rub too hard which could lead to more inflammation.

Next use witch hazel as an astringent.
