Huge pimple inside of my nose. Swollen and painful, also I'm 22 wks prego and hardcore freaking out!!!?
So my nose has been sore do to the prego sinus issues. But this morning I woke up with a HUGE pimple like thing in the inside of my nose, its super swollen now, blocking about half that side of my nose. I%26#039;ve been reading its not wise to pop, but what can I do to get rid of it, exspecially if its infected. Please i%26#039;m sorry freaking out haha.|||pop the damn thing already!!!
How to get rid of pimples without any cream maybe something homemade like a face mask!?
I need to make a face mask or something that can get rid of my pimples and I always wash my face but it doesn%26#039;t seemt o work! Can somebody tell me something that would get rid of my pimples without going to the store and buying all that crap! Thanks!|||I%26#039;m still in my teens and continuously battling acne. I make a quick fix homemade face mask made of baking soda and water. Just mix it into a paste and rub onto your face. It dries pretty fast and starts to crumble so carry a paper towel around. All it does is unclog your pores and takes the redness out. Also works great on sunburns for fast relief. Hope it works for you.|||Toothpaste works pretty well. You can put it on before you go to bed and take it off again in the morning. Moisturizing soaps are better than normal soap, because soap in general dries out skin, causing cracks, allowing more to get trapped between skin layers.
You can try steaming your face (it sounds kind of weird though). Take a tea kettle and boil some water in it. After it%26#039;s boiling, get a towel and drape it over your head and stand over the kettle so you have a towel tent. Open the lid to the pot so it stops whistling and stand there for ten minutes or so at a time. (Steaming also works well for easing stuffy noses).
If you want a face mask instead, a really simple one is yogurt and oatmeal. To that you can add things like strawberries (or use strawberry yogurt), which have small seeds, smell nice, and can bring out oils in your skin. You can also search online for ideas. You have to rub the mask in so the oatmeal rubs on your skin and then leave it on.
Hope something of that helps!|||Yes. Mix oatmeal, sourcream, and honey and make a homeade mask. It works!

What is the pathophysiology of pimples in relation to eating fatty foods?
Could anyone explain the pathophysiology why eating fatty foods, like the fat in pork, results to having pimples in people who are prone to such skin problem?|||Science is not so developed to pin-point the exact cause or rule out something else. But it is noticed in various circumstances why pimples erupt favourably. They are as follows
A) Hormonal changes - occurring during puberty, menstrual periods, pregnancy, and while people start or stop using birth control pills will mostly aggravate pimples. The male sex hormone testosterone (also found in women) triggers the sebaceous glands to produce excess sebum, making the skin greasy, which in turn causes pimples.
路 Period of Puberty - Is pimple a sign of puberty? It occurs in both sexes due to excess sebum production, but predominately occurs in females
路 Premenstrual symptom - Is pimple an indicator of periods? Mostly in women, pimples are more frequently worsened at the time of menstruation
B) Bacteria - The most common bacteria which cause pimples are Propionibacterium acne, Corynebacterium acne, Staphylococcus albus and Pityrosporon ovale.
C) Foods and intakes - Oily, fatty, pastry, spicy and fast foods, chocolates, nuts, and milk produce more sebum, leading to more pimples.
Bromine and iodine salts%26#039; intake or medicines containing these substances, which are mainly used for cold, sedative and as analgesic, will also cause pimples.
D) Environment - Increased exposure to ultraviolet rays (sun exposure) and also environmental irritants such as pollution and high humidity will also cause pimples.
E) Hereditary factors - It is often found to run in families
F) Physical and mental stress - may aggravate the condition for a flare-up.
G) Cosmetics-Greasy cosmetics stick to the skin and form a plug in pore-causing pimples
H) Infection- Dental sepsis and sinusitis sometimes cause pimples.|||Pimples are due to hormone changes and are not affected by food. That is just an old wives%26#039; tale

How do i get rid of a pimple fast!?
please help!|||pop it and put toothpaste on it.if u cant pop it then just put the toothpaste on it and it will dry it up.goodluck!hope i helped!|||Here%26#039;s how to get rid of it quickly and safely:
1. Don%26#039;t ever pinch, squeeze or pick at a pimple. This only
causes it to become more red and inflamed, and will spread the
bacteria and oils that caused it in the first place, to other
parts of your face! It can also lead to scars.
2. Every 30 minutes, apply an ice pack to the pimple and hold it
there for about 2 minutes. This will decrease the swelling and
redness and help shrink the inflammation and pain that sometimes
comes along with it.
3. They don%26#039;t call it concealer for nothing! Covering the pimple
with a light dose of flesh-tinted concealer can help mask it when
you%26#039;re in a hurry. It also helps cover up that oily shine.
4. Cleanse your skin 2-3 times a day with mild, unscented soap or
a specialized acne cleanser that has no harsh chemicals (such as
lye). Scrub skin gently with an exfoliating pad or washcloth, but
don%26#039;t rub too hard, otherwise you%26#039;ll sap your skin of its own
natural oils, which help to repel buildup naturally.
5. Apply a cream or ointment containing benzyl peroxide or
salicylic acid (many over-the-counter acne medicines contain
these ingredients) to the blemish or around the entire facial
area. Note that these ingredients both have a tendency to dry
out skin if used too much and are not recommended if you have
sensitive skin.
6. Wear oil-free makeup whenever possible. These types have less
of a tendency to cause the pore buildup that results in
blemishes. Remove your makeup nightly and cleanse with an
acne-fighting medicine to remove dirt, oil and makeup from deep
within the skin.
7. If you%26#039;re in need of a quick fix, a dab of toothpaste on the
affected area right before bed can help soothe irritation and
reduce redness. Pressing and holding a wet tea bag or a cotton
ball with a dab of lemon juice against the blemish for five
minutes can also reduce swelling and redness.|||Its a process that works for me:
Steam it (meaning turn on the hot water in the washroom and let steam on your face)
put toothpaste on it till it burns
rinse
if you have asprin, cut it in half, put that in water and mix. put it on the pimple (it really works, trust me)
rinse that off after a while
put some ice on it for about 5 minutes to swell it down
put some foundation on it.
should look a lot better now.|||Proactive or Neoutrogena. Also try washing your face and staying hydrated!
*****Don%26#039;t pop pimples- as tempting as it is to squeeze pimples, try not to. Squeezing the pimple can cause further irritation and swelling, which will only further aggravate your situation.****
Home Remedies:
-using oatmeal to tackle the acne. This is done by cooking the oatmeal, allow to cool for a bit before applying to the face for between fifteen and twenty minutes. After the stated period of time, simply wash off the oatmeal using a proven glycerin based face wash.
- the use of lemon juice. To get the desired results, you have to create a potion of rose water and lemon juice and apply to the face using a cotton ball. Allow it to stay for about 30 minutes and then wash off using a glycerin face wash or soap. Repeat this regimen for 30 minutes everyday preferably at night for the next twenty days for some improvement.
*i hope this helps =D*|||there is no miracle cure!
the best thing i have found is called a Blemish Stick, if I remember correctly the brand is Dessert Essence. You can find it at whole foods by the face washes and soaps.|||I too also wish this question was had a simple answer, alas there is none. The quickest way to get rid of one takes around 3 nights. Use Clean %26amp; Clear spot treatment on it 2 times a day and the third night it would be gone =D!

P.S - Whatever you do DO NOT POP IT! It will leave a tiny red dot on your face if you succeed, but if you fail it will look worse %26gt;.%26lt;
P.P.S - If you have good makeup, put ice on the blemish wait until its white at the top, then pop it. Then put toothpaste on it, let it dry. Wipe it off. Then put some make up on and it will be %26quot;gone%26quot;.
