How do you avoid pimples when shaving the vagina?

I%26#039;ve been shaving for a few months, at first it was smooth but recently it%26#039;s become pimpled. Tried using hair removal cream and waxing but neither work. Wondered how to avoid getting pimples and if there%26#039;s any way of removing them.|||apply honey

/|||well first off its not pimples

its razor burn and irritation to the skin

the skin down there is so sensitive and the hair is so course that it makes a bad combination

try getting waxed thats about the only way to make sure not to have any irratiation

another way is to shave in a warm shower (since cold makes your hair stand up and makes the hair follicle get irratated by the razor) and go with the way the hair grows dont go agains

make sure not to use any lotions or such after also the rubbing of pants and such makes more razor brun even after you have shaved

good luck|||those are not pimples, they are ingrown hairs. you need to soak in a warm tub and use a washcloth to rub over them and try to coax the hair follicle out. it will not just pop out on it%26#039;s own. if you can%26#039;t get them out by yourself then you will probably have to go to a dermatologist. next you should let the hair grow out some and then get it waxed. because chances are shaving will land you right back in the same predicament.|||im pretty sure there is no way of getting rid of them|||a product called bump stopper. it is made for men of color, but it is a miracle product for that area.|||prolly cause youre shaving to much.. we means the skins irratated.. wait a couple days for it all to heal over and then shave again...|||never shave upwards it irritates the skin. always shave in a downward motion. try using skintimate shaving gel and a higher quality razor.|||Do you have any pictures? ha!

Seriously, as a man, we get razor burn too. The best thing you can do is get the hair hot and wet, no pun intended. When the hair is hot and wet, it becomes softer and doesnt require as much effort for the razor to cut it... and that minimizes razor burn. For me, it requires 3 or 4 minutes with a very hot face towel resting on my face.

The other thing, make sure you%26#039;re using a new quailty razor. The cheapos dull quickly and the metalurgy is poor.|||You can%26#039;t shave the vagina, it%26#039;s internal.

Your vuvla is the external part.

The best way to avoid ingrown hairs (the little lumps) is to not shave and wax instead.
