Which face wash is better for oily/pimple/blackhead prone skin? see deatails?

celetiphil

st ives blachead scrub|||Cetephil may make your breakouts worse since it is oily and very gentle and doesn%26#039;t seem to take anything off your face. The blackhead scrub will be great but make sure you only use it a few times a weeks so you don%26#039;t irritate your skin and make your acne worse. On the off days i would use a foaming cleanser with 2% salycylic acid (try neutrogena ance wash). You can also try a benzoyl cleanser but be careful as it will tend to dry out out your skin (neutrogena makes one of these also and it can be used as a scrub or as a mask (i use it as a mask and it works great to clear up your face fast!).|||why not use both!|||st. ives hands down I have it and I have the same skin type that you are describing. Use it probably three or four times a week but make sure your moisturizing! It%26#039;s very important. cetephil is too gentle. It%26#039;s more for very fragile sensitive skin. (which is not likely for oily skin) It%26#039;s too gentle for oily skin and black heads it won%26#039;t remove it.|||I would use both; you can%26#039;t go wrong with that.|||use both =] you should use one in the morning and one in the evening =]|||if you go about using the scrub..you might end up bursting the pimples..and in the process spreading the infection...so avoid scrub.

infact they say its best to wash face with plain water..these face washes are too strong for a pimple prone skin...best is clean the system from inside...u can always get a clean up from professional salons once in a while!|||You should really try a cleanser that contains glycolic acid and alpha hydroxy acids which will dissolve blackheads and help prevent new ones. Most scrubs are too coarse to remove blackheads. Make your own using baking soda and water. It works very well. Also, salicylic acid has worked wonders for my blackhead prone skin! I use it every night before bed on problem areas. The results have been great.

My favorite cleansers with AHAs are:

Neutrogena Healthy Skin products (cleanser and moisturizer)

Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Astringent

These are affordable and they work. Good luck!
