Wipe the area a few times a day with an antibacterial soap (like betadine or chlorhexidine) or at least rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. As the infection subsides, the swelling will come down. The bump should get better and will probably go away entirely with time.





Leave the rest of that pimple alone other than that. Only open pimples that have a white or yellow puss pocket. Then do it with a sterlized needle and wipe away the puss with a clean tissue. Pimples last 1 to 4 weeks and there isn%26#039;t anything you can do to get rid of them faster. Once the puss is removed from a pimple it will heal faster. If you use an acne medication, spread it half an inch around the infected area. It won%26#039;t get rid of the pimple you have but will help prevent the spread of it.
