STYE looking or pimple on my dogs eye lid inside %26amp; out is there any thing i can do to treat him? and for you sarcastic people please do not tell me to take him to the vet ha ha some one told me to use milk %26amp; bread any answers %26amp; thanks alot for your answers|||Since you do not want to take the dog to vet just pluck out the eyeball and problem is solved. IDIOT!!!!!|||Me the idiot? I am not the one saying%26quot; for you sarcastic people please do not tell me to take him to the vet%26quot; you were asking for suggestions on what to do and obviously it is a problem that needs attention from a vet, NOT home remedies, idiot!!!!!Thanks for the 10 points. Report Abuse
|||this is a genetic fault and really should be examined by a veterinarian opthamologist... left untreated it will cause irritation to the dogs eye..... and discomfort to say the least some breeds are more prone to this than others... you didn%26#039;t say what breed you had|||My answer isn%26#039;t meant to be sarcastic......just common sense.

If you found a pervasive growth that had spread through the tissue on both sides of YOUR eyelid, wouldn%26#039;t you go see a doctor? Just like us....dogs only get one set of eyes.....isn%26#039;t a loyal friend and family member due the same consideration as you are? My guess is that this is probably causing your dog some discomfort...please care more for him than your wallet.|||Damp hay itch (Pelodera): Red pimplelike bumps on skin. Severe itching. Occurs in dogs bedded on damp hay and similar grass.

Is this what he has?

Any way I would not give him milk and bread, but bathe him maybe somthing is causing this like grass or somthing, then just groom him. It is probably just a reaction, so don%26#039;t let him out for a while... that all I can think of|||Never heard of milk and bread.

What you want to do is make yourself a cup of tea. Now don%26#039;t go and trash the tea bag.

Take a paper towel and the warm tea bag and hold it on the outside of your dogs eye.(when the tea bag is cold remove it) You will want to do this at least 3 X%26#039;s a day.

It will help the pain from the sty to go away as well as make the sty go away. It could take a week for this thing to go away.

If the sty gets bigger and is causing your dog pain then you must take him to the vet.
