How to get rid of HUGE cystic pimple???

is there any hope to help reduce the amount of swelling in this cystic pimple besides getting a cortisone shot??? i tried rubbing ice it is freakin HUGE on the bridge of my nose i dont know what to do!!|||You can put some OTC 1% hydrocortisone cream on it to reduce swelling, and benzoyl peroxide to disinfect it. Anything topical is only of limited use because the cyst is beneath the skin and not on top like a regular pimple. Taking some ibuprofen may help with swelling.

You can also hold a warm (not hot) compress on it which will help bring it to a head. Going to a dermatologist is still your best bet for a speedy fix. They%26#039;ll drain it and give you a cortisone shot.

Whatever you do though, do NOT try this at home.

You%26#039;ll only make it bigger and more noticeable by messing with it! I have heard people giving some really bizarre advice on here, like %26quot;push it down.%26quot; Doing this will just rupture the cyst under the skin, spread the infection, and make the pimple bigger. I know these are frustrating, but your best bet is to leave it alone as much as possible!|||Ahh don%26#039;t pop it!! It will make it worse. Get one of those Clearasil pads. Or use OXY and it will be gone by tomorrow probably.|||hose it down with a good shot of witch hazel on a cotton pad.... every 20 minutes or so, till the swelling goes down. Don%26#039;t bother it! (pick) ... that only makes it swell more.

You can get witch hazel by the rubbing alcohol. usually less than $1 a bottle. It works wonders!|||Give it a name like they name mountains after famous people. Keep it clean, don%26#039;t keep touching it. It will go down on its own. Buy bacterial antiseptic astringent and go over all your skin on your face more to keep bacteria away.|||use the skin off the inside of an egg shell it was absorb the crap inside|||Whatever you do...don%26#039;t pick at it or try to pop it. Those are very deeply embedded. I would continue putting the ice on it a few times/day if you can. Also, (I know this sounds weird) try dabbing some toothpaste on it. It helps dry it and takes the redness out.|||How long have you had it? Is it a boil? You can keep heat on it %26amp; eventually it will come to a head - but I wouldn%26#039;t reccomend that on my face. Best thing is to let it absorb back into the skin. May take awhile. Weird thing but I%26#039;ve found rubbing on antihistimines (like some nasal sprays) help them to absorb back down, can%26#039;t remember where I first heard of that. I%26#039;m middle aged %26amp; have tried it many times over the years. Good luck.|||u should see a doctor or dematologist, u should not rub it with ice, there is germ on the ice, it might be worse.u should not try to squeeze it yourself or it might leave a scar.|||The fastest is the cortisone shot. Cystic acne does not respond very well to over-the-counter acne products. You can get a prescription for Benzamycin which is an antibacterial topical solution that is formulated with benzoyl peroxide.

Cystic acne is mainly handled by antibiotics both oral and topical. Because it can lead to scarring it is best to be seen by a dermatologist for this type of severe acne.|||pinch it and watch that baby burst all over da mirror|||Oh pop that sucker
