its not a pimple anymore its just this purple spot on my chin. i didint pop it. does that mean its healing and what cream should i use? pleaeee and thank u!|||A purple pimple is itself a variant of acne simplex or acne vulgaris. It can also be an infection of lichen planus a bumpy papule or a pimple on skin.
Its purple appearance maybe due to blood streaking the pimple and is more prominent on fair skinned individuals.
The pimple type is though rare but often seen is dermatology.
Treatment goes same as you may treat any pimple eruption or if it%26#039;s lichen then anti-mycotic or anti-bacterial treatment is essential.

there is another thing about purple scars and it is about Petechiae,they are tiny, flat red or purple spots in the skin caused by abnormal bleeding in small blood vessels that have broken close to the skin or the surface of a mucous membrane.
Petechiae that develop quickly over a short period of time (a few hours) may mean the person has a serious infection or lack of blood platelets (part of the body%26#039;s defense against bleeding) that requires immediate medical treatment.
Many people have tiny, flat red spots (hemangiomas) that are present all the time. If they have been present for a while, these spots are not a concern.
If new red or purple spots develop rapidly over hours, this may indicate a serious condition (such as the blood not clotting normally) requiring immediate medical treatment.
So go for a medical treatment...|||ok... well, i have those too.... but it is because i popped them and now they are scars... but, good luck because mine won%26#039;t go away... :(|||if you tried popping it...its probabley bruised
